Scott Hyder
Host
Founder and President of Hidden Battles Foundation (est 2017), Retired Law Enforcement and Retired Army Veteran
Scott is a resilient individual with a rich background in both military and law enforcement. Having proudly served for a decade in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer, Scott achieved the rank of Sergeant before his honorable discharge in 2004. His military journey included deployments to Kosovo, Kenya, and Panama for critical peacekeeping missions. After transitioning to civilian life, Scott embraced a career in law enforcement, accumulating nearly two decades of experience. Today, he channels his passion towards advocating for the mental health of Veterans, Police Officers, and Fire Fighters. Scott's mission is driven by a personal commitment to improving the well-being of those who have dedicated their lives to serving and protecting our communities. Scott finds joy in spending quality time with his loving family—his wife Leslie, son Cregg, daughter Marissa, and loyal service dog Junie. During his off time, Scott indulges in comedy relief, appreciating the lighter side of life. Another favorite retreat for him is decompressing at the lake, where he can unwind and find moments of relaxation and connection with loved ones.
